Tank Deep Cleaning
After a year or two of using a RV both the gray and black holding tanks accumulate layers of debris and filth. These layers are made of feces, bacteria, soaps, oils, food, hair, toilet paper and so on. It's these substances that help create the smells, the hard stalagmite that adds overall weight and adds to the covering of the tank sensors. It is recommended to regularly have your tanks completely deep cleaned using a special set up with water pressure that deep cleans your tanks from the inside out.
There are many products on the market that state they are tank cleaners but they typically do not work well, have enough power and will not do anything about the stalagmite.
A thorough cleaning with this water pressure process will in most cases get the sensors to start to work again.
